Our mission is to enable young people in the Lochaber area of the Highlands of Scotland identify and fulfil their potential.

The Buzz Project enables young people to express their needs, wants and ideas with confidence, develop increased self-awareness and learn skills which will benefit them in education and the workplace.

With its own refurbished bus, The Buzz Project provides a mobile music studio and teaching area using music as a medium for communication, expression, learning skills for the future and building relationships. Music is a universal language which enables the expression of difficult themes…

The Buzz Project
We had a busy month but had a complete lack of pictures! 🎵Music Broth came for a visit and ran a workshop. They also brought up some instruments for our young people from their library! We’re already looking forward to the next workshop in January!🎵We had a flood in the studio but managed to sort it quickly and thankfully there was no damage!🎵There was a duck takeover for the college students😆 they have been busy practicing for an upcoming event, keep your eyes peeled for the posted with more info on that very soon!!!🎵We decorated the studio for Christmas!We have decided not to close studio 2 over the festive period. We will be closing the office for the two week period but the Thursday, Friday and Saturday night sessions will continue as normal. We will be taking a short break in January instead. ... The Buzz Project
We are a bit later with the October roundup! It would also seem that not much happened but there’s so much happening behind the scenes that we can’t wait to share! 🎵We started the month celebrating CJ’s birthday 🎵We ended the month with a halloween party and celebrated Abbie’s birthday too! (The effort that was put in to pull off the party was incredible as we’d only decided the day before to do it!)🎵We’ve been doing some things with recording (but there will be more to follow about that soon!!)🎵We were in the paper! Twice! Once for being a recipient of the Highland council Community regeneration fund and then for receiving an amazing donation from @alvanceba We are kicking off November with more partnership work with @musicbroth , who are on their way up today to work with our young people!
